# Optional M3 voice terms

M3 is an optional, AI-generated voice for Frontier Accord. You can continue
playing without downloading it. There is no voice subscription or per-announcement
charge from Frontier Accord; your normal internet/data charges may still apply.

## Before downloading

The initial download is approximately **423 MB**, including the selected
Supertonic 3 model, voice data and browser runtime. Downloads normally remain
cached on this device, but browser data clearing, eviction or a new version can
require another download.

The browser downloads model files directly from **Hugging Face** and runtime
files from **jsDelivr**. Those providers receive ordinary connection/request
information, such as your IP address. Speech is then generated on your device.
This voice feature does not send announcement text or generated audio to a
remote speech-generation service or to those download providers.

## Agreement to the model's terms

By choosing **Agree and download M3**, you agree to these M3 voice terms and to
comply with the [complete Supertonic 3 model licence](./LICENSE-SUPERTONIC-MODEL.txt),
including **paragraph 5 and every use restriction in Attachment A**. The full
model licence is incorporated into these terms. These requirements apply to
your use of the model and relevant uses of its generated output, not just to
hosting the download. Fetching the files directly from another website does
not remove them.

In particular, you must not use the model for the prohibited purposes set out
in Attachment A, including harmful deception, harassment, unconsented
impersonation, exploitation of minors, or the other restricted uses. These
examples are not the full list: read the linked complete licence. If you make
the model or a derivative available to other users, you must also comply with
the licence's downstream-use and redistribution obligations, including its
requirements concerning use restrictions, notices and copies of the licence.

**M3 speech is machine-generated, not a recording of a person speaking these
words.** Do not remove or obscure that disclosure in the feature. If you publish
or share generated speech, including in a recording or broadcast of gameplay,
clearly and intelligibly disclose that the speech is AI-generated in that
context. Do not claim endorsement by Supertone or a real person.

The model licence's permissions, conditions, limitations and disclaimers
continue to apply in full. These terms do not override it or grant additional
rights in third-party recordings, identities, trademarks or other material.
You remain responsible for your use of the feature and its output.

## Optional feature and availability

Download hosts and browser/device support can change. Availability, speed,
pronunciation and cache persistence are not guaranteed. Disabling M3 stops
using this optional voice; it does not erase the terms applicable to uses
already made. You may remove downloaded data through the browser's site-storage
controls. You do not have to enable M3 to play Frontier Accord.
