# Frontier Accord M3 voice: third-party notices

The optional web voice uses **Supertone's Supertonic 3, voice style M3**.
Speech generation runs on the player's device. The model/voice files are
retrieved directly from their original Hugging Face repository and the browser
runtime from jsDelivr. Direct-source downloads are not a licence exemption.

All generated M3 speech is **AI-generated**. Model terms require this to be
disclosed clearly, including when output is published in another context.

The model's use-based restrictions, downstream-use and redistribution
conditions, output terms, notices and other provisions remain applicable.
In particular, paragraph 5 and Attachment A govern prohibited uses and
machine-generated-content disclosure. The complete licence is incorporated
into the optional feature's [M3 voice terms](./TERMS.md).

Frontier Accord does not train, fine-tune or modify these downloaded model
weights or the M3 voice-style data. M3 is a synthetic voice identifier, not a
claim of association with an identifiable person or endorsement by Supertone.
The published licence is not an independent audit by Frontier Accord of the
training data, all possible output, or third-party personality rights.

## Supertonic inference example code

The browser inference adapter is adapted from Supertone's web inference
examples. Frontier Accord changes include a worker-owned lifecycle, pinned
direct downloads, bounded announcement processing, progress/error reporting
and integration with the game's opt-in audio controls. These are changes to
the inference/integration code, not to the model weights.

The retained upstream third-party notice file covers ONNX Runtime's dependency
inventory, including components that may not be included in this particular
web build. The notices are preserved without abridgement; they do not assert
that every listed optional component is used by Frontier Accord.

This Supertonic path does not use Kokoro, Piper or eSpeak phonemization. Their
licence inventories in the separate listening experiment are not substituted
for the licences of this M3 feature.

## Downloads, privacy and updates

The integration does not include a private access token. Initial model/runtime
downloads contact third parties and reveal ordinary network metadata; speech
text and generated audio are not sent to a hosted TTS API by this feature.
Cache storage is best-effort and separate browser origins can have separate
downloads. Providers can rate-limit requests or change availability.
